Greetings, my Cosmic Chronicler. Today's the day. Today is the day I leave AlyCatVR behind for good. Through deleted channels, slashed friendships, toxic behavior not just from me, but the people around me. It's all going to go today, on my own terms.

I've fully decided on not letting that channel go. Too much history for me AND those who've supported me over the years. Looking forward to a more positive approach to streaming (it's actually what I've been doing on the smaller Nova channel). VRChat as a whole is horrible for me, both because of the chronically online people festering on it and because of my deteriorating health. That's not to say streams will stop in that category altogether, I just want to give it a break for a month or two.

I'm ready to lose upwards of 40 or 50 people who were only there for Aly or VRChat. That's fine, I knew the risks. I just don't wanna hear the Peanut Gallery when they never took a moment to chat with me outside of stream; they have no right to criticize me when they were never there for me. Like, why add me on Discord and never talk? What is legitimately the point???

Originally, I had planned to have an accompanying video after all is said and done, but I'll just leave it unlisted for those who read the blog instead. I've already made up my mind after the 22nd of May. I'll miss you, Aly, but you're horrible for my health; physical and mental.

Also, just mega done with supporting other Vtubers and streamers as a whole (aside from inner circle friends if they become or are streamers). No matter the size, a good chunk of them are manipulative and the sense of entitlement is disgusting. Example, one begged on stream to get a plushie from a game they were playing. It wasn't on their Throne, so I donated funds to allow them to buy it on their own on the website. Found out through an auto tweet from their Throne MONTHS LATER that someone had bought it for them??? Like, whatever, I threw money at you and after that point, it's yours to do whatever with, but don't smile in my face and pretend we're friends after that. Forget you.
